So many filmmakers today distance themselves from from questions of politic; because of necessity, or privilege, or fear. Others imbue every story they have with the urgency and verité of a political forum. Many of the films here follow people looking for dreams: refugees, abandoned children; all of these films courageously refuse to show us the actual dreams, giving us only faces of infant-like discombobulated hope, waiting.
