Do you feel alone? Never? Well, then you should probably go lie somewhere else. The films in this block deal with some of the scariest human phenomenon imaginable: strutting across the stage delivering your darkness while everyone laughs; sitting alone in the house, dreaming about feeling like an invader; surpassing the responsibility you have for losing your closest friend… There are tears to be had here, to be sure, but there are also moments of true joy and empathy that only the most intimate narrative investigations can bring to the surface.
