Director Biography - Alexandre Franchi
Alexandre Franchi left a banking career to pursue his passion for film. THE WILD HUNT, which he co-wrote and directed, was his first feature. The film won Best Canadian First Feature at TIFF 2009 and the Slamdance 2010 Audience Award. Franchi’s films often feature characters who escape an unbearable reality and take refuge in imaginary worlds - HAPPY FACE is the first part of his Cancer Trilogy.
