Director Biography - Andrew Wonder
Enlisted by MTV at age 17, Andrew Wonder was primed in under-the-gun filmmaking. Working along filmmakers like Paul Schrader & Harris Savides ASC, he’s developed new tools to bring film closer to humanity. His work has won an Emmy, Lion, Pencil and has been featured in the NY Times, CNN and NBC’s TODAY show.
His underground adventures with Steve Duncan, exploring subway tunnels, sewers and bridges lead to his viral short documentary, Undercity garnered over 3 million views, was an early Vimeo staff pick and has been internationally praised for its unique way of capturing these overlooked pieces of New York City’s history.
